She is fed well. She is cared for. You spend money, time, and love on her without question.
And yet something is not quite right.
She is tense under saddle. She calls out constantly when other horses leave. She is reactive in ways you cannot fully explain. She is "fine" — but not really fine. Not in the way you know, deep down, a horse should be able to be fine.
What if the thing she needs most is the one thing we talk about least?

In over tree decades of working with horses from a holistic perspective, there is one factor I come back to more than almost any other when a horse is struggling.
Not feed. Not saddle fit. Not training method.
Whether she gets to be a horse.
Horses are herd animals at the most fundamental level of their biology. Their nervous system, their emotional world, their entire sense of safety is built around one truth: the herd equals safety, and separation equals danger.
When we keep a horse alone — even partially alone, even with a companion on the other side of a fence — we are working against everything her body and mind are designed for.
And the consequences can show up everywhere. In her behaviour. In her body. In the tension that never quite leaves her, no matter what we do.
This is what The Born To Belong - Every Horse Deserves A Herd is about.
This is root-cause thinking. Not a quick fix. A genuine rerouting.
Everything I share in Born To Belong comes from over two decades of working with horses and their owners from a genuinely holistic perspective.
I am not interested in quick fixes or in telling you what is easiest to hear. I am interested in what actually works, what is actually true, and what actually gives horses the lives they deserve.
The information in this guide is the kind of information that changes how you see your horse — and once you see it, you cannot unsee it.
I got my horse seven years ago, but before that, I had been riding and caring for him as a loan horse. Throughout his life, he had always lived alone. We did try introducing him to other horses a couple of times, but each attempt ended quickly because he became extremely aggressive and violent towards them. We genuinely believed he was simply a horse that couldn't live with others.
Then I met Sofiia, and something told me to give it one more try.
This time, we approached things completely differently. We prepared him by focusing on a few simple but essential things that I had never even considered before. Sofiia also recommended a holistic support plan to help address the underlying causes of his behaviour, because, as she always says, behaviour is only the symptom.
Today, my horse lives happily with other horses, and I have never seen him so relaxed, content and full of life.
On the day he was first turned out with the herd, I was convinced I would have to remove him within two minutes. I stood there expecting the worst.
But then something incredible happened.
He calmly walked over to greet the other horses, they exchanged greetings peacefully, and then he trotted around the field for a couple of laps to explore his new surroundings before lowering his head and beginning to graze.
I stood there with tears streaming down my face.
It was a moment I'll never forget, and I have never been more grateful that I trusted my intuition and asked Sofiia for help.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for changing both my horse's life and mine.

I created this online course because I see far too many horses living without the companionship they were born to need. Not because their owners don't love them, but because they genuinely believe they are doing the right thing — or simply don't see another option.
Some owners have tried introducing their horse to others, hoping things would improve. Instead, it ended in conflict, stress or disappointment, leaving them feeling as though herd life just wasn't possible for their horse.
But there is always a reason why things didn't work out.
They are not bad owners. They are owners who have not been given the full picture.
My job is to give you that picture. Not to make you feel guilty about the past, but to give you the understanding and the tools to do better from today.
Your horse was born knowing how to live in a herd. This course will help you help her remember.
With Gratitude and Love,
Sofiia
