From a very young age, Sofiia has always felt deeply connected to animals. Born and raised in Denmark, her love for creatures big and small blossomed when she convinced her parents to welcome a variety of animals into their home. The dog was where when she get born, but soon expanded to include chickens, rabbits, birds, fish ect. Even the cats and horses—who initially stayed in the stable—became part of her ever-growing animal family.

Throughout her childhood, whenever life became overwhelming—whether at school or home—it was the animals she turned to for comfort and wisdom. In their presence, she learned to speak their language, understanding the intricate nuances of their body movements and behaviors. Sofiia quickly realized that even within the same species, communication can be challenging, particularly when different breeds or animals from varied backgrounds interact. This sparked a lifelong fascination with the subtle ways animals express themselves, a journey she continues to this day.

As she grew older, Sofiia’s natural ability with animals became well-known. People started seeking her help to care for or rehabilitate creatures that were abandoned, misunderstood, or whose owners could no longer care for them. Her home became a sanctuary for countless animals, each finding a new lease on life under her care.

When Sofiia moved out on her own, she continued expanding her furry family, bringing cats and horses into her home as well. They became her safe space, her best friends, and her greatest teachers. Over the years, her connection to animals deepened, and it became clear that working with them was not just a passion—it was her calling.

Professionally, Sofiia has spent half her life working with animals, and it eventually became her full-time career. Her purpose has always been clear: to help animals heal, thrive, and live better lives. Every animal she saves is a story of transformation, and each one has left an indelible mark on her heart.

Today, Sofiia lives in Italy with her partner and an extraordinary animal family, which now includes 1 dog, 11 cats, and 17 horses. Moving from Denmark to Italy marked a new chapter in her life, where her love for animals continues to shape her personal and professional path. The animals she has nurtured and saved have, in turn, given her a profound sense of purpose and joy.
